With the pace at which cities around the world are expanding, it is becoming increasingly difficult to ensure a balance between the environment and people. Goal number 11 of the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals is ‘Sustainable Cities and Communities’; that is, cities that are safe, inclusive and sustainable for all should be built.
Keeping this in mind, Shelltech is consciously working to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals in each of its projects. In this era of rapid urbanization, Shelltech is planning projects with emphasis on environmentally friendly construction, social harmony and the future.

Limited, one of the country’s leading real estate companies, has won the ‘SDG Brand Champion Award 2025’ in the ‘Best Sustainable Real Estate Company’ category. 35 companies from different sectors were selected as winners in this event organized by Bangladesh Brand Forum and Bangladesh Innovation Conclave. In the last 37 years, Shelltech has handed over more than 4,145 residential and commercial units in Dhaka. Shelltech’s efforts in sustainable city building are eye-catching in design. Each project has open spaces, rooftop gardens, walking paths and places to relax. The planned rooftop gardens reduce the temperature of the city, keep the air clean and bring peace of mind. A rainwater harvesting system has been installed in Shelltech’s projects to retain rainwater. Through this technology, it is possible to reduce water waste by storing rainwater and using it for various purposes such as washing cars, watering trees, etc. Shelltech believes that living together is a joy.
